School Council Election Day!

Today was an exciting day for St Colman’s Primary School as we held our 2018/19 school council election.

Children from P4-P7 gathered in the hall to witness history as children running for election took to the podium and presented their peers with their manifestos promising things like a cleaner school, more school trips and of course KFC.

Each child had the opportunity to vote in their individual voting booths ensuring that their votes would not be compromised or copied. Our trusted ballot box security guard Sean McDonnell of Mrs. Toland’s class made sure that each child’s vote was safely registered.

We look forward to announcing our school council this year and will keep you up to date with any further announcements in what is shaping up to be 2018’s most memorable election.
