Ditch the Dark Day 2021
Coding fun! We spent the morning creating our own animations using Scratch Jr. We have been using lots of new language such as algorithms, logic, computational thinking, abstraction and debugging. It was lots of fun!
We had some special visitors to our class today! Alan and his 'Wee Critters' came to visit us and it was AMAZING! We got to meet lots of different animals and we learned lots of new facts to add to what we are already doing in our 'Animals' topic. Thank you Alan!
We have been learning all about symmetry in class. We used peg boards, pegs and elastic bands to make symmetrical patterns and pictures. We also used our amazing outdoor classroom to create symmetrical pictures using leaves, twigs, stones and any other items that we could ifnd. It was lots of fun!
