In Science Starz we investigated with different materials. We predicted and sorted waterproof materials. We picked waterproof materials to use when building a house.
We had some very special visitors in our outdoor classroom today. Science Starz brought some fascinating animals for us to meet. We learnt all about their habitats. We saw a Carpet Python who lives in the desert in Australia, a tarantula from Mexico, an owl from the Amazon Rainforest and a hedgehog. We got to stroke or hold the python! The owl had amazing wings and very sharp claws. We talked about how animals can use camouflage.
