Our class had a great time today visiting Glenmore Parkland Trail with LCBC. We planted wildflower seeds and really look forward to seeing them grow. 🌻🌼🌸🌷 Thank you to Tracey from the Council for organising our visit.

World Book Day - We had an amazing time reading from our favourite books, dressing up as characters from stories, writing book reviews and illustrating book covers.📚📚
We have had great fun today on Pancake Tuesday🥞🥞
We have been using our Scientific Skills to investigate electrical circuits in class. 👩🏻⚕️👨⚕️
We are taking part in the RSPB Big Bird Watch 2022.🦉🦅🦆 . We have recorded lots of different birds living in our school grounds- we saw Blackbirds/Robins/Pied Wagtails/Finches/Collared Doves and lots more. We have really enjoyed seeing so many beautiful birds in our school grounds. We have found out more about these birds and how they are so important to the WAU😁😁
The “Sam Maguire Cup “ visited our school today. Thank you to Miss Haughey for organising this today.🏆🏐👏
We had a fabulous time planting Wild Garlic, Daffodil and Crocus bulbs today. Thank you to Phil from LCBC for helping us today. I hope Padraig’s grandad enjoyed our trip too.🌸🌳🌷🌲

Our class are participating in our annual Ditch the Darkness day- we are learning so much about staying safe when we are travelling to school. Be smart and be seen👀
Iain from Sustrans visited our school today. We have learned how important it is to wear a helmet when we are riding our bikes. Thank you Iain- we really enjoyed today in school🚴♂️🚴♀️

Numeracy Week is fun😁 We have learned so much about Odd and Even numbers this week. We are learning to read time too⏰🕰
Alan from Wee Critters visited our class today. We have found out so much about vertebrates and really enjoyed seeing the mammals, birds and amphibians. Thank you Alan🐸🐹🐭🦔🦜
We really love using our Outdoor Classroom. We have been looking after our raised beds and hopefully we will see our vegetables growing soon.🥦🥬🥕
