Primary 6/7 Boys Gaelic Football League
Well done to the Primary 6&7 Boys Gaelic Football team as they battled hard in the Antrim Leagues yesterday. They have done us all proud representing St Colman's P.S well!
The team started off with 2 strong displays drawing with Christ the Redeemer & St Teresa’s, before narrowly missing out to St Oliver Plunkett in their final game. We await to hear if we have made it to the final stages.
A big shout out our keeper, Ciaran McAllister who pulled off some fine saves to keep us in the games! Also to our Player of the tournament Adam Walsh who put in 3 fantastic performances, showing skill, determination and scored an incredible goal!
We are proud of each and every player and look forward to Championship next term for the team to make their mark again!
Well done boys!
Primary 6/7 Girls Gaelic Football League
Our amazing Primary 6 & 7 Girls Gaelic Football Team gave it their all this week in the Antrim Leagues, representing St Colman’s PS with pride and determination. They started off strong with a fantastic win in their first game against St Teresa’s PS, and narrowly missed out in their final match by just one point! Although they didn’t make it to the semi-finals this time, the girls can hold their heads high, knowing they gave 100% and showed incredible skill and teamwork.
This experience will no doubt boost their confidence as they gear up for the Championship next term, where we're sure they'll come back stronger than ever!
A huge shoutout to the player of the tournament, Katie Holmes, for her outstanding performance as our ‘sweeper keeper.’ Katie was unstoppable, keeping a clean sheet in every game and making excellent saves and key assists all afternoon!
We’re very proud of each and every player.
Well done girls!
We all loved Sports Day!
