Our Irish dancing School, Carson Kennedy, went to the World Championships in March 2017 and came first place in a dance drama.
The world championships is the biggest Irish dancing competition and is open to all Irish dancers around the world.
A dance drama is an Irish dance that you use your hands and feet to make a story through act Andy dance. Everyone dresses up in a costume and props are used in the background. Our dance schools drama was called 'Sister Margaret Mary.' It is about a poor lady and her son, who rob a wealthy man and all the townsfolk have a nosie in. In the end they go to jail and everyone is happy. It took place in Dublin.
We won a First Place World Globe Trophy. It is every dancers dream to win the world and we achieved it at a very young age, as a group.
