Starting our morning with some practical maths fun! We have been busy exploring numbers and shapes using Numicon, building number lines, making shape monsters, counting forwards and backwards, creating patterns, and colour sorting. Fantastic work, P1! ⭐️
Autumn Walk We had a wonderful start to our day with our autumn walk! The children worked with their partners to collect a variety of autumn treasures in different shapes and colours. Great job, P1!
Some of our 'S' and HFW activites this week.
Colour blue . Today we started our weekly tasks on the colour blue. The children enjoyed colouring, sorting blue and drawing part of the story 'Little Blue Truck' https://youtu.be/NnDYnouTIHk?feature=shared Well done P1.⭐️
Our first PE MR sports session. This term we will be focusing on dance. The children really enjoyed making different shapes with their body, acting out animals and following a dance routine ⭐️
Some snippets of our week in P1! It's been so lovely to have everyone in now and settling into our new routines. The children are doing brilliantly and we are so proud of them! This week we have been focusing on: ✏️ Fine motor skills and pencil grip . Days of the week ✂️ Scissor skills Counting to 5 and enjoying play based learning with our new friends.
