✨ I am so excited to meet you all and begin your child’s learning journey here at St Colman’s!

Here are a few important things to remember for the first few weeks in Primary 1:

📍 Arrival
On their first day, children will enter through the front entrance at the school office at their allocated time.
From then on, they will enter each morning through the black gates.

⏰ Home Time
Pick-up at the external classroom door
School will finish at 12:30pm until Friday 11th September.
From Monday 14th September, home time will be 2:00pm.

🥪 Snack/Lunch
Children will have a healthy snack during the school day, followed by either a packed lunch or school dinner before going home each day, starting from their first day.

🎒 Extra Items
Please send in a spare change of clothes in a labelled bag to keep on your child’s peg, just in case they are needed.

📅 Important Dates
Curriculum Meeting/RWI Parent Information Session – Tuesday 22nd September

The Read Write Inc. (RWI) Literacy Programme Information Session will take place at 1:00pm in the hall. It is strongly advised that a parent or guardian attends this session, as this is our new phonics programme.

The P1 Curriculum Meeting will begin at 2:15pm in the P1 classroom.

🏀 PE Days – Monday & Thursday
Children should wear their PE gear to school these days. PE will begin on Monday 14th September.
