Tin Whistle
St Colman's is proud of it's music tradition. We provide all children in the school with opportunities to play a variety of instruments.
Tin whistle lessons are for pupilsfrom P4 -
P7 & Mr. O'Faogain's and Mrs. Devlin's classes.
Lessons are thirty minutes long and take place on a Tuesday with Mr. Davey. Children are asked to make a contribution each term to assist with the costs.
All pupils should have their own 'D' whistle and music book. Each year group has their own repoirtre of tunes and songs.
Pupils in all classes are encouraged to enter for grade exams in tin whistle which take place in June.
This year out of twenty four entrants we had twenty-two distinctions and two achieved merits. Well done everyone.
