Netball
The netball Team is competing in the Lisburn Primary Schools Netball League. Schools come together every month to play a series of matches at the Leisure Plex. There are also two tournaments that the team compete in each year.
Review of the 2009/2010 season.
Once again, attendance at Wednesday Netball sessions has been very consistent. This year we had up to 35 girls attending training each week from P4-P7. We also were very fortunate to have Karen McVeigh join us each week to assist our coaching. Karen is a professional netball player who has played for Northern Ireland. She was very impressed by the girls' commitment and attitude and commented on how much they progressed throughout the year.
In this year's league, the team won 3 matches out of 5 and lost the other 2. They performed very well at both tournaments. Although they did not win they certainly enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the two events.
