Hurling

Hurling Training

The training day for Hurling has changed to a Wednesday from 3-4pm. This term children in P3, P4 and P5 can join up. This year coaching will be taken by Antrim and St Gall's player, Michael Pollock.

Training for P6 and P7 will start after Christmas.

Fabulous FinalChampions

St. Colman's P7 hurling team have again covered themselves in glory. Playing a Casement Park, the boys brought the title of Antrim Champions to the school with a superb display of hurling skills. Everyone in the school is very proud of them.

A big thank you to everyone involved in making this all possible, not least the two coaches.

Education Minister comes to visit St Colman's

Mrs Caitriona Ruane came to visit our school in June 2007.

Mrs Ruane was very impressed with the huge number of trophies that our children had won in Gaelic, Hurling and Camogie. She loved talking to everyone in our school and it is a day that we all fondly remember.

Mrs Ruane and all our GAA trophies
