This week our class have been learning about cutting numbers in half. To do this we gave the children a number of cubes and then asked them to organise the cubes into two equal sets.

Our class took advantage of the beautiful weather to go on a frong hunt in our outdoor classroom. The children observed the pond to see if they could spot any frog spawn.

Our class have been practicing for the St. Colman's 50th School concert! We are so proud of all the hard work they have put into this concert and we cant wait until you all see it.

Our class was very lucky to have Mr. Webb give us a lesson on how to control drones using codes on an IPad. The children then programmed their own drone with instructions using the IPad's.

Our class helped plant tulip and daffodil bulbs in October. We are all happy to see that they are growing quickly in our school polytunnel.

In Class we are continuing to learn about animals. Today we had a visit from the Zoo to discuss the difference between vertebrates and invertebrates in our outdoor classroom. The children had a great time learning about the animals and being able to handle some of them.
