The next Parents' Association meeting will take place on Wednesday 12th October from 7-9pm in the Parish Hall.

P1 Notices:
- It is very important that you continue to send a note into the teacher listing the days your child is on the bus, attending the timeout project or attending an afterschool club.
- Bus money is no longer taken at the school - parents can obtain a reference 20 smartlink card at any ulsterbus station or pay 85p to the bus man. Children travelling from Miltown to Killeaton are free.

Disabled Parking:
Parents are asked to leave the disabled parking spots free for those parents who are registered to park in these areas. Your co-operation in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Parents' Association Meeting:
the next meeting of the PA will take place on Wednesday 12th October from 7-9pm in the PARISH HALL.

Time Out Project Meeting:
the next meeting will be on Tuesday 11th October at 7.00pm in the Beechlawn Hotel. There are places available in the 2 - 3 Session (Mon, Thur and Fri) - contact the time out project for further details.

P7 Extra Tuition Classes:
Classes for P7 pupils taking part in the Transfer Tests will continue on Monday and Tuesday. Mrs McGrath's class every Monday and Mrs Toland's class every Tuesday from 3-4pm.

Do This In Memory -
If your child is preparing for First Eucharist in 2012 and you were unable to attend the Do This In Memory information evening on 27 September in St Colman's Church please contact the Parish Office to register your child for the programme. Alternatively you can contact Jennifer on 90947115. To register your child you will need to provide the child's name, your name and telephone number and or e-mail address.

Hallowe'en Break: School closed Monday 31st October to Friday 4th November (inclusive). This break includes 2 staff training days on Thursday 3rd November and Friday 4th November.

After School Clubs:
French Club: classes will begin on Wednesday 12th October in the library from 3-4pm.
Irish Dancing: every Thursday from 2-3pm and 3-4pm
Rosary club: every Tuesday from 3-3.30pm in the Oratory
Drama: class every Tuesday from 3-4pm in the Mini Cinema
Fit 'n' Fun Gymnastix: Every Friday from 3-4pm in the Sports Hall (First group only until Halloween)
School choir and traditional group -every Thursday in the assembly hall from 3-4pm.

Sporting Notices:
Gaelic:training on Monday from 3-4pm and match on Thursday (home) V St Aiden's at 3.00pm
Hurling: training starts on Tuesday 11th October from 3-4pm for P5/6/7 only in the sports hall. Training for P4 will start after Halloween.
Girls Gaelic:Training will return on Friday 14th October for girls in P4/5/6/7 in the sports pitch - please bring warm clothing.
Netball: Training on Wednesday for P6/7 only due to staff training.
JUDO: classes every Friday from 3-4pm.

Naomh Padraig Ladies Football Team: Kirkwoods pitches every Saturday from 3.30- 5.00 for girls from age 9 to 16. All skills welcome, contact Michael Stewart on 07775743852 for more details.

FRUITY FRIDAYS.
This week on 'Fruity Fridays'.........BANANAS. Every Wednesday the children pick their choice of fruit and give their 25p to their teacher, then on Friday breaktime their fruit is delivered to their classroom. This is a great initiative and we encourage all children to take part.

School Meals: Week beginning Monday 10th October-£2.20 (£11 for the week)
Just to remind parents that dinner money must be paid on a Monday using the school dinner money envelopes.
