EARLY CLOSING - School will close early on Thursday 26th January 2012 at 12.45pm for children in P1, 2, 3, 4. Children in P5/6/7 must go straight to the Church for Confirmation at 10.45am.
EARLY CLOSING ARRANGEMENTS
* School will close at 12.45pm on Thursday 26th January for Confirmation. Children in P1 to P4 are to come to school as normal on Thursday. School will finish at 12.45pm after lunch. Alternative arrangements have been made for Mr O'Faogain's class
* BUSES: Both Lisburn buses will be available however there will be NO ORCHARDVILLE bus at 12.45pm.
* Separate arrangements have been made for children in P5,6 and 7.
P7 Notices
Mass of Commitment will take place on Sunday 22nd January at 10.00am in St Colman's Church.
The Primary 7 children will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday 26th January at 11.00am from Bishop Farquhar.

St Patrick's Day Holiday: Friday 16th March and Monday 19th March
First Holy Communion Date: Saturday 26th May 2012
After School Clubs:
Drama: classes will now be on TUESDAY from 3-4pm
French Club: classes every Wednesday from 3-4pm. New members welcome
Rosary club: every Tuesday from 3-3.30pm
Irish Dancing: no class next week due to early closing
Traditional + School Choir- will be on Monday next week at 3.00pm due to early closing on Thursday
Fit 'n' Fun Gymnastix: The advanced group will start on Friday 27th January - the instructor will provide a list of names to the school next week and if your child is selected, a letter will be sent home.
Sporting Notices:
Soccer: training will start again on Monday 16th January from 3-4pm - for P4 + P5 in sports hall with Mr Burns and P6/7 on pitch with Mr Crouch. Please bring your boots and shin guards.
Hurling: training every Tuesday from 3-4pm
Netball: training on Wednesday from 3-4pm for P6/7 pupils only.
Judo: every Friday from 3-4pm
Girls Gaelic: training will start on Friday 27th January.
FRUITY FRIDAYS.
'Fruity Fridays'...... will return next week with APPLES. Please have your 25p in with your teacher by Wednesday. Fruit will be delivered to your child's class at Breaktime on Friday.
School Meals: Week beginning Monday 23rd January-£2.20 (£11.00 for this week)
Just to remind parents that dinner money must be paid on a Monday using the school dinner money envelopes.

Homemade breaded chicken goujons or savoury mince beef with sweetcorn & peas, homemade potato wedges or chips yoghurt & fruit
Tuesday
chicken stir fry with rice & curry sauce or baked salmon with sliced green beans, creamed potato or pitta bread mini chocolate muffin & custard P5/6/7 pupils must bring a packed lunch today
Wednesday Roast pork & apple sauce or poached chicken fillet with turnip, creamed or dry roast potatoes pineapple sponge & custard
Thursday
cheese & tomato pizza or grilled bacon with beans or sweetcorn, creamed potato & homemade wedges date krispie & custard P1-P4 only
Friday
oven baked pork sausages or chicken pasta bake with mushy peas, creamed or baked potatohomemade flakemeal biscuit & fruit & milkshake
