FRIDAY NOTE WEEK 2 - FRIDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER 2011

Friday 9 September 2011

Our afterschool clubs and sports start back this week but please note important changes to Drama and Gaelic.

Friday Note:
For the benefit of all our new pupils and parents. I would like to briefly explain what the Friday note is about. The Friday Note is the main source of contact to our parents. It is vital that parents read their Friday Note as it gives information on upcoming meetings, events, school closings/holidays and after school activities. The Friday Note is also published every week on our school website www.stcolmanslambeg.com. If your child is off on a Friday, you may get a copy from the office at any time. IMPORTANT: Parents make sure you label all your child's uniform/bag etc. You must also inform the school office in writing of any new changes to pupil contact numbers, i.e. new mobile numbers or change of address. It is vital that we have correct details in case of an emergency.

Lisburn buses:
The express bus that leaves the old school at 8.25am each morning will now also be collecting children at the Killeaton, Rose Garden and Dunmurry Lane stops. This is due to Betty's bus being full by the time it arrives at these stops. Please ensure you are the bus stop on time.

P7 Extra Tuition Classes:
Classes for P7 pupils taking part in the Transfer Tests will begin on Monday 12th September. Mrs McGrath's class every Monday and Mrs Toland's class every Tuesday from 3-4pm. Children must be collected on time by a parent.
