FRIDAY NOTE WEEK 16 FRIDAY 16TH DECEMBER 2011

School will close at 1.00pm on Thursday 22nd December and 12 noon on Friday 23rd December. Dinners will be available on Thursday but no dinners on Friday. Normal buses on Thursday but only the Lisburn buses will be available at 12 noon on Friday.

Christmas Holiday Arrangements

There will be an early closing on Thursday 22nd December at 1.00pm. Dinners and all buses will be available.

School will finish for Christmas at 12.00 noon on Friday 23rd December. There will be buses in the morning and only the Lisburn buses at 12.00 noon. There will be no Orchardville-Lagmore bus at 12.00. Parents are asked to please ensure arrangements are in place to collect your child from school on time.

School will reopen as normal on Monday 9th January 2012.

Christmas Concerts:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in making all our concerts a huge success this year. Thank you all again for your continued support.

Do This In Memory
The Do This In Memory programme continues on Sunday 18 December 2011 at 12.00 Noon Mass in St Colman's Derriaghy. Your child should colour in the picture of Jesus' Family on page 45 of the THUMB and bring this to Mass with them on Sunday 18 December. Spare copies of the THUMB are available if required. If your child has not already a copy of the THUMB please e-mail arthurscott.scott@btinternet.com to request a copy or telephone Arthur on 92673947.

Netball: training will return on Wednesday 11th January 2012
Judo will return in the new year
FRUITY FRIDAYS.
'Fruity Fridays'...... will return in the new year.

School Meals: Week beginning Monday 19th December-£2.20 (£8.80 for this week)
Just to remind parents that dinner money must be paid on a Monday using the school dinner money envelopes.

St Vincent De Paul Hampers: A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our St Vincent De Paul hamper appeal. Because of your generous donations we were able to make up 30 hampers to be distributed to needy families in our parish.

 

And Finally.... As this will be our last Friday Note before Christmas I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and holy Christmas and a peaceful new year. Enjoy the break and we will see you all back on Monday 9th January 2012.
