FRIDAY NOTE WEEK 1 FRIDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER 2011
Friday 2 September 2011
The Friday Note is our main source of contact to our Parents - please ensure you read it every Friday.
Friday Note:
For the benefit of all our new pupils and parents. I would like to briefly explain what the Friday note is about. The Friday Note is the main source of contact to our parents. It is vital that parents read their Friday Note as it gives information on upcoming meetings, events, school closings/holidays and after school activities. The Friday Note is also published every week on our school website www.stcolmanslambeg.com. Please ensure you read the Friday note every week. If your child is off on a Friday, you may get a copy from the office at any time. IMPORTANT: Parents make sure you label all your child's uniform/bag etc. You must also inform the school office in writing of any new changes to pupil contact numbers, i.e. new mobile numbers or change of address. It is vital that we have correct details in case of an emergency. Colour master in Kennedy Centre will embroider names onto jumpers, coats etc for just £2.
LISBURN BUSES:
Rooney's were unable to secure the SEELB tender for our Lisburn buses, this year the service will be provided by Translink. ALL ROUTES, BUS STOPS AND TIMES will remain the same. Translink buses will have the school name displayed on their buses for easy identification. Full details of routes are available from the school office.
P7 Transfer Meeting: An information evening relating to the Transfer of this year's P7 pupils has been organised for Monday 5th September at 7.00pm in the school assembly hall. P7 Extra Tuition Classes: Classes for P7 pupils taking part in the Transfer Tests will begin on Monday 12th September. A letter will be sent home with your child next week.
