Summer Vacation: school will finish at 12 noon on Wednesday 30th June. Parents please make sure your child is collected on time.

Bus Arrangements for Wednesday:

Rooney's bus: one bus in the morning picking up at all Lisburn/Dunmurry stops and again one bus at 12 noon. Both buses will be escorted by Betty
Ulsterbus: there will only be a morning bus - NO BUS AT 12 noon. Please make other arrangements for your child.
SEELB Yellow Bus: Children who travel on Niki's bus with Mrs Mary O'Toole will be leaving school at 11.30am.

Changes to Ulsterbus: From September children who travel on the Ulsterbus will have to purchase a smartlink card and top it up with fares that will enable your child to travel. We had hoped that translink would have provided the new bus rates and codes in order for parents to purchase the Smartlink Cards for September, but these will not be available until August. This information will be posted on the school website before school starts in September. Information on the changes and smartlink cards are available from the school office. REMEMBER FROM SEPTEMBER THE SCHOOL WILL NO LONGER BE TAKING BUS MONEY

Back to school:
School re-opens for P2 - P7 children on Tuesday 31st August (full day). The new P1 pupils have separate starting times.

Parents' Association: I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the staff and pupils to thank most sincerely Mrs Caron Cullen and her entire committee who worked so hard on behalf of the school this year. Their efforts are very much appreciated and I can assure everyone that all funds this year have greatly enhanced the education of the children.

Sporting Notices:

Hurling: Thank you to all the children for their commitment at training this year. Thank you to the coaches, Gerard Shannon, Ryan Duckett and James Gaskin for their assistance in another very successful year.Gaelic: Congratulations to the P6/7 team who beat St Joseph's in the final. Well done to everyone who performed brilliantly this year. Thank you to the St Gall's players who took the girls Gaelic football every Monday and congratulations to Paul O'Hanlon who was selected to represent Belfast schools in the annual fixture against Dublin Schools. Soccer: Thank you to everyone who turned up to training every week, we had a huge turnout every week. Thank you to Gerry Burns for his assistance and congratulations to the P6 A side team.Netball: We had an excellent turn out at training every week. Thank you to Karen McVeigh (Professional Netball Player) who assisted with the coaching every week. Although the girls did not win any tournaments this year they all performed well. See you all in September

Mrs McDonnell's P2 class will be taking her class on into P3
Mrs Marie McGrath's P3 class will be split and will go to either Mrs Tandy or Mr Kernan in P4
Mrs Tandy P4 class will be going to Mrs McClements in P5
Mr Kernan's P4 class will be going to Miss Phoenix in P5
Miss Phoenix's P5 class will be going to Mrs Toland in P6
Mrs McClement's class will be going to Mrs McGrath in P6
Mr Crouch's P6 class will be taking his class on into P7
Miss Gallen P6 class will be taking her class on into P7

Mrs Devlin and Mr O'Faogain in remain in the MLD unit and the 2 new P1 classes will be taken by Miss O'Prey and Mrs Robinson.
