Diarmuid had a great week and he won Pupil of the Week this week. He will be presented with his certificate on Friday 2nd December.

Poster Competition

Everyone in our class can take part in the poster competition to advertise our school website. Just design your poster on an A4 sheet and don't forget to include the name of our school website. There will be a prize for the winning poster in each class.

Sincere thanks to all the parents and our wonderful Parents' Association who helped make our hallowe'en disco and Saturday's quiz night such a success.


Open Night: Monday 28th November at 6.00pm.
If you have a child that is starting Primary 1 next September or you know of someone who does, please contact the school office to register for an invitation to our Open Night.

Christmas Bazaar:
Thursday 1st December at 6.00pm in the school hall. We need donations for the tombola - toys (new), gift vouchers, tins of biscuits/sweets, perfume etc. If you are interested in sponsoring a stall please leave your name with the school office and a member of the PA will get back to you. Donations are also needed for the bottle stall, cake stall and book stall.

Thursday 8th December 2011 (Children will not be in school on this day)

Christmas Holidays:
Friday 23rd December - 12.00 finish - Friday 6th January (inclusive)
Children return on Monday 9th January

On the 6th of November each teacher picked two people out of their class to be planet protectors.Niall and Mark Cunningham were picked and their job was to be sure everyone in their class recycles and the teachers turn off electrical appliances at the end of the day that aren't in use.
