LEARNING TOGETHER
On Wednesday 19th of January pupils, parents and staff got together to learn about our Maths approaches. We all enjoyed it.
Pupils, parents and staff gathered together to learn appraoches to developing speech and language skills in young children and thinking skills. Parents were also given guidance on how to support the homework sent home by the speech and language service. Mr Ó Faogain and Ms Andrea Rafferty our speech therapist led the lesson and we were greatly supported by Mrs Lowe. This was held in November and we plan to have our Maths day in January 2012. It was a great success! Well done to all, especially the stars of the lesson, all the boys and girls in our class who were excellent!
EXPLORING THE USE OF CRAYPASTEL IN CLASS
OUR CLASS HAVE CREATED BEAUTIFUL PICTURES ON THE THEME OF WINTER. EACH CHILD CHOSE A THOUGHT AND BROUGHT TO IT TO LIFE IN COLOUR AND STYLE. THEY CAN'T WAIT TO GET THEM HOME.

Children return on Monday 9th January
On the 6th of November each teacher picked two people out of their class to be planet protectors.Rachel Alexander and Darragh Mc Grath were picked and their job was to be sure everyone in their class recycles and the teachers turn off electrical appliances at the end of the day that aren't in use.
