Working with our local community

We have linked up with the local community in order to help make a real difference.

We created links with Little Oaks Playgroup and our Parents' Association

We set up a web page for littles Oaks and we linked up with the Parents' Association for the Christmas bazaar. We also ran an initiative at the school bazaar that help to fund them and make a real environmental difference. We made £27 on the night and since then another 23 parents have signed up online. That means that Arc Lighting will donate £50 to the PArents' Association.

Regional Training Unit

We are on a shared site (under the same management company). When we discovered that the RTU were not having their waste recycled we wanted to help make a difference to our whole site. They had been carefully disposing of their waste in recycle bins but it was all going to landfill unknown to them. We heightened awareness and ran our own collections.
