New Building
After the recent announcement of £3.3 million grant aided for the new school building St Colman's is looking forward to the beginning of construction work. Work will commence early Autumn and should take approximatley 18 months to complete. We are all looking forward to the start of the construction work during the next academic year and to making preparations for our wonderful new building. We will keep you updated with the progress as it happens.
The architects (HMD Architects) under the watchful eye of Project Manager (Hughes McMichael Co.)produced extremely innovative and child friendly plans for the new school building.
Pictured below is an architectural design of how our new school will look. The building on the bottom left is the Parish hall and St Colman's Church is the building on the right.
Of course we are all still very proud of our old school building but we are excited about the new plans.
